Sewer Inspection

In-Depth Sewer Inspection from No Dig Team

Sewer issues are unfortunately common in homes and businesses in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Because sewer lines are buried several feet underground, locating a clog, crack or other issues can be a challenge. At No Dig Team, our technicians perform accurate sewer inspections. Our state-of-the-art video cameras provide real-time, reliable information about the precise location of all types of sewer issues in laterals and main lines.

Common Issues We Check

When you call us about a sewer problem and request an inspection, we'll ask you several questions about the issue, its frequency, when it started, and what makes it worse. Based on your answers, we check for:

  • Tree root clogs
  • Mineral scale
  • Waste or debris clogs
  • Cracks or offsets
  • Corrosion
  • Pipe collapse
  • Holes
  • Missing pipe sections

The Process of Sewer Inspections

To inspect your sewer line, we use a small, waterproof video camera with an LED. The camera delivers a real-time video feed to our color monitor. You can watch the monitor along with us, or we can create a recording and show it to you later. The camera attaches to a long, flexible cord. We deploy it into the sewer line through the existing clean-out hatch, so no digging is required to perform the inspection. Our technician remotely operates and monitors the camera's progress through the sewer line. The technician notes problems and uses the camera's geographic information to pinpoint the exact location of the sewer issue.
